Bizarre Negative Reviews of All the National Parks

National parks, from lush forests to deserts, showcase America’s stunning landscapes but aren’t for everyone. Some visitors, driven by curiosity or companions, feel so disappointed that they leave negative reviews. While some complaints about poor public services are valid, others miss the mark entirely.

Often, these bizarre reviews blame the park for uncontrollable factors, like mosquitoes or closures due to government shutdowns. People sometimes mistakenly give one-star ratings while praising the park. Others seem to seek attention with amusing complaints, like calling the Rocky Mountains “too rocky.”

Here are examples of those who didn’t appreciate what Wallace Stegner called “America’s best idea.”
