These Celebrities Went All Out for Halloween
As if it’s not enough to dress up as a different person every day for your job, celebrities, for whatever reason, like to dress up as different people on Halloween, too. Honestly, we think it’s because they have such extreme personalities that have to show up everyone else. Because when you have an income of millions, simple devil horns and a pitchfork just isn’t going to cut it as a costume.
Some of the most prestigious celebrities are not immune to the antics of Halloween. They seem to enjoy it as much as the rest of us. Some of them may be a little too much. While some may go for traditional Halloween getups, others go completely bonkers with their Halloween attires. From the offensive to the downright scary, these celebrities certainly know how to make a seen and get their Halloween partying on.
Hopefully, they all enjoyed themselves because some of these costumes certainly cost them a lot of money for just one night. Where we might use a cheaper costume for one night or maybe a price one for multiple Halloweens, that’s not the case with these celebrities.

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber as 'Yellowstone' Characters
Cindy Crawford and her husband and Casamigos cofounder, Rande Gerber, showed up to the Casamigos Halloween party—allegedly the most coveted event of the year in Hollywood—in costumes inspired by the hit show Yellowstone.
Gerber cohosted the star-studded event with his Casamiga cofounders, George Clooney and Mike Meldman at a private Beverly Hills residence. Crawford’s two children also attended the costume party.
Kim Kardashian as Mystique From X-Men
2022 was the year Kim K showed up and showed out for Halloween—so much so that she ended up crashing a formal birthday party dressed as Mystique from X-Men!
The star confessed on her Instagram stories that after spending hours getting into blue body makeup, she was a bit, erm, underdressed for the occasion! She later took a selfie with the birthday girl, Trace Ellis Ross, and laughed about the whole thing. What else can you do in that situation, right? At least she looked great!

The hotel heiress dressed up as her “childhood icon,” Sailor Moon for Halloween! She finished her Instagram caption with her classic trademark, “#ThatsHot.”
Her husband even joined her in a few Instagram shots as Sailor Moon’s boyfriend, Tuxedo Mask! Now #ThatsHot.

Bette Midler is looking great as a witch but it’s interesting she chose not go as her iconic Hocus Pocus character. That’s certainly not a complaint, just an observation. You think she would have stolen that costume from the set.

The most basic couple dressed up as the most basic food: avocado toast.
The millennial breakfast of champions is played by a football champion and a gorgeous supermodel. What more could you ask for? Some everything bagel seasoning would be nice but that’s a separate issue.

Jessica went as her husband this Halloween circa the year 2000, and he went as…a microphone. I think we know who the funny one in this relationship is. Her Instagram caption is the only explanation we’re given: “This is what happens when you admit on TV that you don’t know any NSYNC songs and you’re married to @justintimberlake. Well played, husband, well played.”
Actress Jessica Biel began dating Justin Timberlake back in 2007 when Timberlake convinced her to go out with him at a friend’s party but they had met back in 2005. It’s no surprise they like to party to this day but probably a little less so now that they have two kiddos. They married in 2012.

Of course, Heidi Klum was going to be something really crazy. The Scream Queen of Halloween stated she always wanted to be a worm but had a hard time figuring it out. Apparently, she got all the logistics down and wiggled into this claustrophobic costume. We can’t imagine wearing this thing all night.
Her husband went as a fisherman and provided the hook. Clearly, he had to help her up and down for photos. Talk about dedication! Once again, Heidi Klum proves to everyone that Halloween can be creative, fun, and over the top. Gotta love this woman!
Demi Lovato as Pennywise From "IT"
Something tells me Demi would tempt a lot of people to dive into a ditch after her…
Demi Lovato is dressed up as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, who of course eats children. Hopefully, Demi Lovato doesn’t also eat children but you really just never know with some of these celebrities. But we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.

The NBA star dressed up as Pennywise for Halloween in 2017 and reportedly stayed in character the entire night.
Hopefully, that doesn’t mean quite literally because…those poor kids. But yes, it seems 2017 was filled with Pennywise costumes. Evidently, everyone thought it would be such an original idea.
Gabrielle Union as Isis From "Bring it On"
Gabrielle Union and her daughter dressed as her character, Isis, from the beloved film “Bring it On” this Halloween. It would be darling if it weren’t completely infuriating that Gabrielle can still fit into the same cheerleader uniform 19 years later!
She looks great and you can certainly see that her daughter is a spitting image, albeit a very small, tiny little baby image. We’ll done for bringing it on this Halloween, Gabrielle. You see what we did there? I know it was great. You’re welcome.

Here she’s dressed up as Poison Ivy from the cursed film Batman & Robin – literally the worst Batman movie ever made. It’s the one with George Clooney as Batman and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze. Uma Thurman played Poison Ivy and I guess she was the best part of it – sort of.

Hopefully, their relationship is stronger than that of Bill and Hillary, though. They aren’t exactly relationship goals. But whatever works for them, I guess.

Wells Adams looks shockingly great in that dress, and quite frankly – a little jealous, he can pull it off.

Gaga dressed up as Edward Scissorhands in 2017. Why is this just THE the most appropriate costume for her?
She looks more like Edward Scissorhands did, which doesn’t make sense, but neither does Gaga sometimes. What’s interesting, though, is that this isn’t even the strangest thing she’s worn. This is definitely a step up from the meat dress.
Chrissy Teigen as Guy Fieri
All of me loves all of this 2015 costume.
She certainly has his signature look down but does she have the official designation of “Mayor of Flavortown”? Probably not, but she’s a pretty good cook in her own right. She even has multiple cookbooks on the market.
Kim Kardashian as Cher
Kim Kardashian has cited Cher as her style inspiration before, but she took her adoration to a whole new level by dressing as her for Halloween in 2017.
There’s just one big difference between the two that we should point out. Cher is a talented actress and singer, and Kim Kardashian…well…I’m not exactly sure what she does, but she seems to be pretty good at it.
Gerard Butler as the Mad Hatter
Gerard Butler never really struck us as the type to go all out for Halloween, yet here he is! He really decided to play the role here, and he’s nearly unrecognizable! This was Treats! Magazine’s 7th annual Halloween Party in 2017.
Turns out, Butler is a huge fan of Halloween. He regularly dresses up and goes all out, but this orange hair is something else. For some reason, it almost looks good on him. Maybe it’s because he’s Scottish. Or maybe it’s because he has the vibe of the Mad Hatter.
