The internet is full of things we all struggle to believe: crazy news stories, signs of alien life, and creepy creatures found in the deep, blue sea. No matter what we do online, we’re going to find that the majority of the content we consume has had the truth stretched, even if it’s just a little stretched. But there are some things that make us stop and scratch our head. Things that we probably can’t Google to get an answer for.
Those things are pictures. In an era where people use Facebook like generations past used scrapbooks, there’s a lot of images online. Well past the hundreds-of-billions mark. These are images on your cousins Facebook, your nephews Instagram, and that news site your browser automatically takes you to. Pictures are everywhere online, and they’re only increasing in number.
It makes sense then that there’s bound to be some weird ones. Not ones that people took to be weird, but photos that were taken at just the right time and from just the right angle that they make you rethink everything you know.
