ALOT Toolbar Features
ALOT Buttons
Type a query into the ALOT Toolbar search box then use ALOT Buttons to conduct a Reference Search, Recipe Search or more. Use ALOT Buttons to link directly to the best sites on the web as well as a growing number of widgets. Each vertical ALOT Toolbar comes preinstalled with a hand-selected set of relevant ALOT Buttons.
Toolbar Web Search
Search directly from the toolbar's search box. Highlight text on any page to input it into the search box.

Allows convenient, direct searching from the address bar.

Shows links for potentially correct pages and search results for bad web addresses.

Features can be turned off and on by clicking on the ALOT logo in your toolbar and choosing "Preferences."
Discover (formerly Site Metrics)
Users who opt-in to the Discover program (formerly Site Metrics) help ALOT identify the best sites on the web and improve ALOT Buttons. Enabling ALOT Discover (formerly Site Metrics) will allow the toolbar to collect anonymous data and browsing habits that help ALOT to identify which sites users prefer.
