Space Invaders
The 80s arcade classic and Atari 2600 hit game is back! Blast off into a little old-school gaming with access to Space Invaders right from your toolbar or ALOT home page. Just click the button to launch Space Invaders and launch into some classic gaming fun. If you grew up in the 80s you shouldn't need instructions. But just in case your new to the game, or have a terrible memory, here's how to play. You've got to shoot the rows of aliens as they move horizontally back and forth across the screen and descend towards the bottom of the screen. Use your keyboard's left and right directional keys to move your laser cannon back and forth across the bottom of the screen and hit the space bar to fire. As you destroy more and more aliens, their movement speeds up. With each level, the aliens get faster and harder to defeat. And be on the lookout for the flying saucer that sometimes moves across the top of the screen; you get bonus points for destroying it. If any aliens make it to the bottom of the screen, or you get hit by one of the alien's laser shots, it's game over. Blast away at the aliens and rack up the score... and try to survive to the next round.
