Solitaire
Now you can play the classic game of solitaire, also known as Klondike, right from your toolbar or ALOT home page. Just click the button to launch the game window and deal up some solitaire fun.
If you don't already know, the object of the game is to move the four Aces, as they appear, to the foundation (the four spots in the upper right of the screen) and build each up in suit from Ace to King. Use the mouse to drag and drop the cards around the screen. To do so you need to move cards around the tableau (the seven columns of cards in the bottom half of the screen), building stacks of cards with alternating colors in descending rank, and uncover or free up the necessary cards in the proper order to move to the foundation. The stack of cards on the top left is the draw pile. Click on the top card to turn over three cards at a time. If the top card is playable (either on a foundation or on the tableau), you may do so. If not click again for another draw. The game ends when either all foundations are filled (in which case you've won), or when no more moves are possible (you lose!).
Solitaire involves a fair amount of luck, but there is still some skill involved. Hours of solitaire fun can now be had right from your toolbar or ALOT home page. Now that's a good deal!
