Making the Internet Easy

If you haven’t started customizing your ALOT products yet, you’re missing out. We’ve got hundreds of ‘buttons’ available for you to add to your toolbar, homepage or desktop to make them more personal and relevant to you. Customizing is quick and easy and all of our buttons are 100% free and safe to use. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help get you started.

ALOT Toolbar

The way you customize your ALOT Toolbar differs slightly depending which version you’re using. Take a look at your toolbar and see if you’ve got a wrench icon (ringed in red below). If you’ve got this wrench, just click it and you can start customizing.

No wrench, no problem. Just click the ALOT logo on the left hand side of the search box and then select ‘Customize Toolbar’ to get started.

ALOT Home

Have a look on the left hand side of the page, under the ALOT Home log and you’ll see some text that reads ‘Add content’. Click that link to start customizing. Remember, if your page is looking a little overcrowded, you can always remove buttons you don’t use by simply clicking ‘Close’, which is the cross icon in the top right corner of every button on your page.

By the way, did you know you can also move buttons around the page if you want to? Just click on the top of the button, drag it to where you want it on your page and then let go.

ALOT Desktop

Click on the ‘Options’ menu and then select ‘Customize’. This will open up the customization interface.
